The Marauders faultered down the stretch in overtime against the Roadrunners and watched their playoff hopes probably terminally faultered as well.
Deonte Huff scored 34, but it wasn't enough as both Huff and the Marauders (12-15, 5-5) were feeble from the free throw line and lost to the Roadrunners (12-15, 4-6) for the second time this season.
The Marauders shot just 31 percent from the free throw line (5 for 16) and were just 27 percent before the overtime. But two of those came from Rob Bates, who like Huff was 2 for 7 from the line, but hit his two with 1:17 left in regulation to tie the game at 57. Bates did grab 13 rebound on the night.
